About Us
Bones Du Jour was created out of my love for dogs and continues for the same reason.
Over the years I have volunteered for many worthy dog related organizations (including Search and Rescue Dogs of Colorado and Wildkind), worked as a veterinary technician and as a groomer.
I have performed other rewarding work but I always seem to gravitate back to a career where I can interact with dogs.

FAQs
- Are there any preservatives in the treats?
- No preservatives. Bones Du Jour are baked fresh to order.
- For how long are the treats good?
- If kept cool and dry they will last several months. Just like human food they will loose nutrients as time goes on. You can protect against that by refrigerating or freezing them.
- How should I store the treats?
- I store mine on the counter but they don't last a long time at my house. My dogs eat them long before they would get stale. You can refrigerate or freeze them to preserve freshness.
- Do you bake for cats?
- I do not bake for cats. It is not that I am not fond of cats, I currently provide 24 hour staff services for two cats and three turtles in addition to my dogs. Cats do not get as excited about home baked treats as dogs do and their nutritional needs for high protein make it difficult to prepare a suitable treat.
